Guiding Principles

Our firm serves five key constituencies, and we hold ourselves accountable for maintaining strong, ethical, long-term relationships with each group.

Our Limited Partners - These partners are our customers. They entrust their capital to us expecting excellent financial returns and comprehensive, open communications that focus on investment strategy, outlook, and timely, factual results. Thus far, our track record has been strong.

Our Portfolio Companies - The men and women employed by the companies in which we invest deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. These companies also deserve to reach their full potential and we will deploy all of our skills, experiences and resources in pursuit of that goal.

The Financial Community - In all of our investments, we work with other members of the financial community, which includes the nation’s leading lenders, lawyers, accountants and equity co-investors. Our long-standing relationship with these partners is based on fair dealings, mutual respect and a belief that our future success depends upon their success.

The Community at Large - We believe it is our obligation to act as good stewards of the companies we control. That obligation extends to mindfulness with respect to the environmental issues, diversity, leadership and a spirit of giving back to our communities. We encourage Goldner Hawn employees and the leaders of our portfolio companies to actively participate in community service.

Ourselves - As employees of Goldner Hawn, we are also important constituents. We expect fair compensation and an opportunity to grow professionally and personally through our association with Goldner Hawn and its many constituencies. We treat each other with respect and dignity and expect the same from others.
