As you would expect, our spotlight industries are well represented throughout the Midwest and also mirror our investment team’s experience. Our Consumer Team focuses on investing in the consumer products (Allen Edmonds), retailing (Wilsons Leather, Westlake, Byerly’s), food (Michael Foods, Vitality), restaurants (Houlihan’s, Bakers Square and Village Inn) and services (Blockbuster/Mid-America). We also have a growing interest in the healthcare services sector. Our Industrial and Business Services Team focuses on investing in both outsourced services (Lancaster, Petermann, Transport America) and manufacturing companies (Remmele, Union Metal, Hartzell, Deltak).
