A number of factors can influence a business owner's decision to seek liquidity investment capital, such as a move from public to private ownership, industry consolidation, estate and succession planning, change in management, or a need to increase profitability and growth. We realize a business owner’s motive for selling their business can vary significantly and therefore we take a flexible, customized approach to every business partnership. In many cases, we have acquired majority interest from business owners who maintain an ownership position and active management role going forward.

Our overall strategy is to invest for long-term growth and stay actively involved with our portfolio companies over a period that can range from three to seven years. We find that this time period allows all business partners to fully realize their business goals and financial objectives.
